Brian Williams at age 55, was not only the head of the number one evening news show but also was one of NBC’s biggest stars. He was a frequent celebrity guest on Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, and the late night show circuit.

Brian Williams was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and now lives in New Canaan, Connecticut. Brian and his wife Jane Stoddard Williams have two children, a son and a daughter. His daughter, Allison Williams, is an American actress, comedian, and singer. She starred in the recent movie Get Out.

Brian Williams has worked for MSNBC and CNBC as an anchor and managing editor. Williams has also served as the primary substitute for Tom Brokaw on The NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, and the weekend anchor of that news broadcast. Williams is also known as a gonzo journalist.

Brian Williams said that while he was in Iraq he was in a helicopter crash. An R.P.G. struck the helicopter and forced them to crash land. Brian Williams had lost his memory from this incident. He wrote an article from his experience of Iraq, but later people found out he lied about what he wrote and saw in Iraq. Brian was suspended for 6 months.
