In the past it has been said that if you use chewing tobacco as opposed to smoking cigarettes you will be healthier and free of cancer. It has been proven that both can cause cancer. It is even said that chewing tobacco contains more nicotine. Chewing tobacco is sometimes known as chewing tobacco or spitting tobacco. It is available in two forms, snuff and chewing tobacco. Both types of chewing tobacco are held in the mouth inside the cheek or between the cheek and gum. There are 28 known cancer causing chemicals in chewing tobacco. Although nicotine is absorbed more slowly from chewing tobacco than from cigarettes, Three to four times more nicotine is absorbed from chewing tobacco than from a cigarette, and the nicotine from chewing tobacco remains longer in the bloodstream. Nicotine is the substance responsible for tobacco addiction.

I believe one of the biggest problems with tobacco and nicotine addiction is the fact that people start at a very young age. Here at North, you can see lots of students chewing around the school whether they are 18 or not. Kids start from such a young age and develop bad habits from an age as low as 15 or 16. One of the biggest effects in the long run is losing your bottom lip in very little time or it could happen when you are 80, there is no telling when it can happen but there is a very good chance of getting cancer and losing your lip.
I think that the biggest problem with chewing tobacco is the fact that it can take your lip. Who wants to walk around with no bottom lip? With no bottom lip you would have a hard time finding someone to go to dinner with. Even finding someone to be friends might be hard. With our generation you wouldn’t be able to find a prom date and who wants to be that guy, the guy that everyone makes fun of and talks about.
