Jeremy Meeks is a convicted felon who was sentenced to two years in federal prison for weapon-related offenses in February 2015. He was arrested in June 2014 after he was stopped by police who then found a semiautomatic handgun and two extended magazines for the gun. After serving more than a year at a facility, Meeks was finally released into a transition house, where he will remain for a few weeks before he is ready to start a new unexpected life.

Meeks became an internet sensation in 2014 when his mugshot went viral after they were posted on Stockton Police Department’s Facebook. The internet went into a frenzie and many nicknames were developed for Meeks such as “Sexy Felon” and “Hot Convict.” Woman all over could not get over his looks and he was talked about for weeks. The internet also questioned if he was “Too sexy for jail?”

Meeks is now looking forward to a new career in modeling. He is now working with an agent, Jim Jordan of White Cross Management. Jim Jordan states that “We have a lot in store regarding Jeremy’s new career. There are a multitude of offers on the table.” In preparation for his new modeling career, Meeks is working out and eating healthy daily. He stays active on Instagram posting photos thanking his family and friends that support him and saying he is ready for his new life to begin.
