People have been wondering why are Americans afraid of riding a plane? Well that’s all in your mind. Every time you’re going on a airline, you get freaked out because your mind thinks of all the bad things that might happen. That is the conversation you have with your mind the whole time you’re on that airline.
There are many ways to get rid of that terrible fear. One of the ways is to think about this: What are you most likely to die in, a plane or a car? The answer is a car, because there are about 1.2 million people that have a car accident every year. About 40,000 people die each year, in the US, in car accidents. Around 36,000 people die from the flu, in a year, just in the US. There is only a two out of a 1.2 million chance of getting in a plane crash, with only around 200 people dying each year from airplanes. What I’m trying to tell you is that you are more likely to die from other common things like car, flu, and drowning than dying in an airplane crash.
