By Chayse Lee     The air filter is vital to the motor. This cleans the air that is mixed with the fuel and provides the best combination for the full power of your vehicle. If this is not cleaned or checked every 3000 or 5000 miles, this lead to faster oil pollution, loss of power, and soot build-up on spark plugs.

Locate the air filter box.

Unclip the holding clips and remove the top.

Remove the air filter and shine a light thru one side of the filter. If the light is slightly visible tap or blow it out with pressurized air, If the light is not visible, Replace the filter.

Do the inverse of steps 1 & 2 after it is replaced or checked.
